Annual Project - Data Center

South Korean government has extended financial support of US$ 3.50 million to NITC for establishing Government Integrated Data and Training Center (GIDTC) in Nepal. However, NITC has already started data backup and recovery project on a small scale. Last fiscal year NITC connected three offices; DOCPR (Department of Civil Personal Records), FCGO (Finance Controller General Office) and Election Commission with the central server at NITC under the Disaster Recovery Project. This year NITC has plans to strengthen existing capacity, build network and further extend its service to other offices.

NITC will also work on some priliminary issues necessary for the construction of GIDTC.
