- NITC registers .gov.np domain for government offices and organisations.
- Domain registrations under .gov.np are free of cost.
- Domains are registered in a first-come-first-serve basis but terms and conditions must apply.
- It may take at least 2 working days to get your domain/s registered or modified, though it may take longer sometimes depending on the number of pending requests.
- Official request to NITC should be submitted while requesting for .gov.np domain registration.
- The official request can be application letter from the corresponding agency and a form that is available below. (The form must contain valid admin/technical contacts. Also, administrator's contact address in the form should be from the head of agency).
NOTE:
A domain name can be selected on your own, but depends in the availability of .NP ccTLD registrar's database.
