Domain Registration
  • NITC registers .gov.np domain for government offices and organisations.
  • Domain registrations under .gov.np are free of cost.
  • Domains are registered in a first-come-first-serve basis but terms and conditions must apply.
  • It may take at least 2 working days to get your domain/s registered or modified, though it may take longer sometimes depending on the number of pending requests.
  • Official request to NITC should be submitted while requesting for .gov.np domain registration.
  • The official request can be application letter from the corresponding agency or an online form that is available in NITC website. (The online form must contain valid admin/technical contacts and valid name servers. Also, administrator's contact address in the online form should be from the head of agency).

NOTE:

A domain name can be selected on your own, but depends in the availability of .NP ccTLD registrar's database.
